Korin's story

Before skincare became part of my self-improvement routine, it felt out of reach. I knew it mattered, but I did not know how and where to start

I had started working out, eating better, and making small changes. But my skin was still something I couldn’t figure out. It didn’t look how I wanted it to. I had large pores, regular breakouts, and I didn’t feel great about it. I knew it mattered, but I had no idea where to begin.

Most products felt over complicated. Everything was packed with jargon, overly designed, or complex routines that I didn’t understand. I wasn’t interested in adding a complicated process into my day. I didn’t want a shelf full of bottles. I just wanted something that I knew worked.

That’s why I started this brand. I wanted to create one product to cut through the noise. No clutter. No confusion. It’s built for people who want better skin without having to become skincare experts. It fits easily into your day, does what it says, and helps you feel more like yourself again.

We want Korin to not just be a skincare brand. We want to offer something that helps you feel your best. We understand that you don’t need a complex routine or flashy packaging. You want something that works, and helps you feel put together without the extra effort.

What does Korin stand for

Korin was chosen because it means "shining halo" (光輪) in Japanese. A quiet ring of light that surrounds something strong. To me, that image captured exactly what I wanted the product to stand for. Not surface-level glow, but the kind of confidence and presence that comes from feeling good in your own skin.

That’s the heart of the brand. Not just better skin, but the best version of you. A product that helps remove friction from your day, so you can focus on what really matters. When your skin feels right, you move differently, and everything else feels a little lighter too.
